Organizes chaos into strategy
Bruce Carlson’s consulting focus is on healthcare marketing and strategy. With more than 25 years of experience in the life science industry and having consulted with life science clients in 40 countries on issues of commercial strategy and execution, Carlson specializes in optimizing commercial strategy. He is adept at data analytics, commercial business process transformation, strategy and market development, market research, and market and industry assessments. He also has extensive experience in new product planning, customer segmentation, product positioning, performance measurement, multichannel optimization and business strategy.
Carlson previously served as Senior Principal, General Manager of Midwest Region, and Business consulting lead across industry verticals for Cognizant Technology Solutions, Analytics Practice. He also served as Vice President at marketRx, where he opened and grew the firm’s Midwest practice; as Principal in sales effective practice at Mercer HR Consulting, where he led the firm’s life science focus; and as Senior leader at startup global consulting firm RM Consulting International. He has also held roles in strategic planning and global strategic marketing in the Diagnostics Division at Abbott Laboratories, and managed global sales and marketing strategy engagements with LS clients at ZS Associates.
He holds an MBA, with Distinction, in strategy and finance from Northwestern University and a BA from Wittenberg University in chemistry and business administration.
