Nina Paciotti specializes in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices and early stage technology for many medical product segments and therapeutic areas. She has over 20 years of experience in developing commercialization and product design strategies for professional healthcare products. She has extensive experience in conducting and interpreting market research for both established products/markets and novel early stage technologies. Paciotti is recognized for her aptitude in bridging between R&D and commercial teams to help design optimal target product profiles, competitive positioning, and market participation requirements.
Paciotti previously served as Associate Director of Commercial Development for the University of Chicago Office of Technology and Intellectual Property, driving the commercial assessment of novel product concepts and acting as a liaison to industry partners. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Strategic Planning and Analytics for American Pharmaceutical Partners, Director of Global Marketing for Renal Pharmaceuticals at Baxter Healthcare, and Director of Marketing at Miravant Medical Technologies. She also served as a Product Manager for implantable medical devices at Inamed and as Manager of Product Development for Ortho Diagnostics at Johnson & Johnson.
She holds an MBA in marketing from California Lutheran University and a BA in microbiology and English from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
